STURT FOOTBALL CLUB – SANFLW HEAD COACH POSITION
Sturt Football Club Inc (“Club”) is affiliated with the South Australian National Football League (“SANFL”) and participates in all competitions the SANFL oversees.
The Club is one of ten Australian Football League clubs playing within the SANFL competition and conducts football development programs inside its allocated promotional and regional zones.
A vacancy exists for the position of Women’s Senior Coach.
The Women’s Senior Coach will be responsible for implementing a football program based on strong leadership, elite standards, individual player development and education of a structured game style.
The successful candidate will undergo performance assessments regularly with appropriate professional development measures subject to need, as well as being prepared to be part of a team that will be dedicated to promoting the Club’s brand and culture.
This role presents a unique opportunity to make a positive impact and continue the positive momentum established through hard work and perseverance by the Club.
This position will report to and work closely with the Women’s Football Coordinator.
Key attributes and expertise include;
- Senior coaching experience (state league and/or AFL preferable)
- Relevant AFL coaching qualifications (AFL Level 3 preferred)
- Detailed knowledge of the SANFLW competition
- Proven ability to develop players
- Communication and relationship skills
Key responsibilities include;
- Implement a game style capable of winning a SANFLW Premiership
- Implement a high-performance football program with elite standards and individual player development
- Design and implement the SANFLW training program
- Video analysis of training and matches
