John Field 8/1/43-21/1/26
John Field grew up playing Colts for Sturt in the 1960. He would often regale the success and glory days of the seven premierships in the 1960s and 1970s. He was ecstatic to celebrate the more recent premierships in 2016, 2017 and 2025.
John had so many happy times at Sturt over the years and made many valued friendships. In the 1980s, he was the Club’s compare hosting player presentations after games. John’s (and wife Delia’s) business Field Public Relations sponsored Captain Zane Kirkwood for several years.
