Vale Phil Stone
The Club is saddened to advise the sudden passing of off-field team member Phil Stone.
Phil, was a Life Member, Vice President, SANFL Service Award recipient and former Board Member.
Over the past decade he managed Sturt’s Membership Services. In 2017 he also took over the running of the Club’s merchandise.
Phil was a kind, polite, friendly, humble and generous man. He was known for his humour, and work ethic. He rated raising children and grandchildren into the Sturt fold as his proudest achievement.
Most members and supporters would have interacted with him when visiting the Club or attending games.
Phil’s family and work colleagues are understandably devasted.
