Lifelong Sturt supporter and long-time True Blue Member, Michael Giotas died tragically on Monday June 22.
Michael grew up in the Unley area and went to Unley Primary and Unley High.
His favourite pastime as a youth and adult was Sturt Football Club. He spent many weekends watching his beloved Double Blues at Unley Oval and opposition grounds.
He was so proud to experience the Club’s recent success in particular the one point win over the Magpies in the 2017 Grand Final.
Michael worked for over 30 years with the Adelaide City Council and is survived by his wife and two children.
Rest in Peace Michael. We will miss seeing you at Unley Oval.
