The Club wishes to advise of the passing of former player J. G “Gerry” Martin (front row, second from right).
Player #599, Martin debuted on 23rd April 1958 versus Glenelg at Kensington Oval. He played for Sturt between 1955 and 1957.
Martin played 30 games and kicked 29 goals, wearing guernsey numbers 5 and 9.
Martin passed away 19th October 2019. Our best wishes are with his family and friends at this time.
