Premiership Player Jake Sutcliffe (sponsored by The Chambo Choir) has advised the Club he will retire from playing in the SANFL.
“Words can’t do what the club has done for me justice,” Sutcliffe said. “I want to thank everyone that was a part of the last 6 years of my life at the club.”
Sutcliffe made his Sturt debut as player #1234 in Round 3 of the 2017 Season. A skilful, high marking forward he finishes his career at Sturt having played 60 league games including the 2017 Premiership team.
In Round 9 of the 2020 season, Sutcliffe sustained an ACL injury that sidelined the talented player for most of the 2021 season.
The Club wish Jake all the best for the future.
