Sturt sign Aidyn Johnson

The Club is pleased to announce it has signed ex AFL player Aidyn Johnson.

The speedy forward was pick 45 in the 2015 national draft and spent four seasons at Port Adelaide where he played 11 AFL games and kicked 8 goals.

Johnson was to play this season with Richmond’s VFL side before their season was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Senior Coach Nathan Grima is extremely happy to get Johnson to the Club.

“He contemplated signing with us late last year before deciding to head home to Victoria.

“I couldn’t believe it when he called me earlier this week to say he wanted to come and play with us.

“He is pure class and I can’t wait to see him on the track”, said Grima.

As per current government policy he will spend two weeks in isolation having arrived from Victoria.

In the meantime we trust you will enjoy some recent footage of Aidyn Johnson.
