Sports is a huge part of my life, I grew up playing basketball for Forestville Eagles (played 17years) and still play socially but my main sport now is footy where I have been playing at Lockleys FC for 11 years. I have a Bachelor of Sports and Recreation Management from the University of South Australia.
I got involved with Wheelchair AFL in 2016 when I was on Uni placement with Disability Recreation and Sports SA with my main role was to help run a program/competition for the first time in South Australia. I was involved as a Player/Coach with all 4 teams that participated and won the Gold medal at the National Wheelchair AFL Championships.
It is amazing to see how sport of Wheelchair AFL has grown and developed from 8 people in 2016 to having the SANFL back the sport and creating a four team competition with close to 40 participants!
