ABOUT US
Sturt Football Club are one of ten teams competing in the South Australian National Football League and has a vison to be acknowledged in all respects as the premier club of the SANFL. The Club has teams competing in Men’s, Women’s, Boys, Girls and Wheelchair competitions.
Qualifications & experience
Currently hold or to obtain a DCSI working with children check
Have a full driver’s licence and have access to a suitable vehicle to be able to travel to events
Accredited Level 2 Australian Rules coach (minimum)
Be available on weekends and after-hours as required to assist with events
Experience managing groups of volunteers and/or staff
Demonstrated experience working in a sporting or education environment, particularly working with youth-aged participants
Demonstrated experience managing programs and operational financial budgets
Sports Management, Education, or similar tertiary qualifications
Tasks & responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of the Development Squad Program (U13-15 boys)
Coach the Under 14, Under 15 and 13 Metro Squads
Work with zoned clubs (Hills Football League & SANFL Juniors) to forge connections and identify suitable talent for involvement in Sturt underage programs
Undertake general administrative duties and helping in the female development squad programs
