Celebrating Indigenous Round and NAIDOC Week we have reduced the price of the Emu Dreaming Indigenous Inspired Football painted by Byron Sumner.
“The emu feathers represent the emu constellation in the sky. The emu’s position in the sky signals at what point it is best to act. When the emu is on the eastern horizon after sunset it indicates a quiet time, for me this feels like the first part of our season still finding our feet. Later in the year when the emu makes its way up higher into the sky and its body is directly overhead, traditionally this indicates the prime time to collect emu eggs or for us as players this is our time to act to zone in and take that top spot that we’ve been working hard and preparing ourselves for during that quiet time.”
