A Message from CEO Sue Dewing

As you have no doubt heard to ensure the health and safety of all South Australians and to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, from 6pm this evening South Australia will commence a 7-day lockdown.

The home and away games (League, Reserves & Under 18’s) scheduled against North Adelaide on Saturday 24 July have all been postponed. The Wheelchair Football game against the Eagles to be held Friday 23 July has also been postponed.

The Club and hospitality venue Barzaar will be closed until lockdown ceases.

We understand that these measures present an enormous challenge for our Sturt community, however we hope that you can appreciate that these measures would not have been put in place unless absolutely necessary.

At this stage we anticipate the lockdown to remain in place for a period of 7-days, however authorities will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as it unfolds.

As soon as we know what is happening with the SANFL competitions we will advise you.

In the meantime we will endeavour to provide virtual content to help you through lockdown.

Stay safe, stay home.
