Bio

Chris Thredgold, Director of Football has been a pivotal figure in our club’s history, both on and off the field.

Chris’s journey with Sturt began in 1991, and over the next decade, he became a cornerstone of our defence, playing 223 games until 2002. His leadership qualities shone through as he captained the team from 1995 to 2002, sharing the record for the most years as captain with Paul Bagshaw.

After hanging up his boots, Chris continued his association with the club, joining the Board in 2014 and serving as the Director of Football since 2015.

Off the field, Chris has built a successful career in mortgage brokering with his business, Home Loans & Finance Group.
