Sturt Football Club is excited to announce the signing of former Western Bulldogs VFL player, Josh Patullo.
Josh a 21 year old forward/ruck. At 200cm and 97kg, athletic and strong in the air, he will provide significant on-field physical presence.
Prior to playing in the VFL he represented the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup where he was named in the 2016 Team of the Year.
Senior Coach Nathan Grima notes that Josh can fulfill the role of a key forward.
“He will support Read in the ruck since big man Jack Osborn departed. I envisage him having a presence in the forward line marking and bringing the ball to ground. At only 21 years of age and 200cm we expect him to continue to develop all aspects of his game.”
We welcome Josh and look forward to seeing him run around for the Double Blues in Season 2019.
