Unfortunately, we again witnessed unacceptable behaviour at House Brothers Oval on Saturday. This poor behaviour resulted in two patrons being evicted from the venue. The Club has received a report from the security firm involved and will work through the issue with the SANFL & SAPOL in the coming days.
At the start of the season the Club made a request to the SANFL that additional security staff be stationed at identified risk areas at House Bros Oval i.e. the Northern end of the Oval, with a specific brief to look out for bad language and anti social behavior in general.
Anti social behaviour from any patron will not be tolerated at House Brothers Oval, as a Club we are concerned that these types of incidents and complaints regarding crowd behavior are becoming commonplace.
These sorts of incidents reflect poorly on the Club, at a time when there are so many positive things happening around the Club at the present time.
This short note is to re assure our valuable members and supporters that the Club will not accept this poor behaviour and will continue to work with the SANFL, Security & SAPOL to ensure House Brothers Oval is a safe, family friendly venue.
